Taizhou Pacific Fire Equipment Co., Ltd. is a Fire Coupling manufacturer and direct supplier based in Taizhou, Jiangsu, China. Since 1980, we have produced fire hose couplings for hose-to-hose, hose-to-hydrant, hose-to-gun, distributor, and collector connections. Our programme includes card-type and threaded interface families: KD couplings, KY tube-tooth quick couplings, KN and KW fixed-thread couplings, KJ reducing couplings, and stuffy covers.
These couplings serve fire hose lines, hydrant outlets, water guns, distributors, collectors, and hose reels in commercial, industrial, high-rise, hotel, warehouse, port, marine, and residential projects. As part of our complete fire-fighting product range, they are engineered to work with the hoses and hydrant equipment we produce in the same factory.
Fire Coupling range and configuration
Our standard working pressure for the KD card-type coupling series is 1.6 MPa, with nominal diameters from DN25 to DN150. The full range covers the coupling types most often specified in fire-fighting systems:

Where each coupling type fits
KD couplings are the workhorse of hose lines. They are specified at pump outlets, between hose lengths, and at the inlet of nozzles, distributors, and collectors. Their lug and locking groove design provides a positive connection that does not rely on tool tightening.
KY quick couplings suit relay and attack lines where personnel need to connect or disconnect under time pressure. KN and KW fixed-thread couplings are used where a permanent or semi-permanent connection to a hydrant, standpipe, or appliance is required. KJ reducing couplings solve the common project problem of matching a DN80 supply hose to a DN65 branch line, or a DN100 hydrant outlet to a DN80 hose.
Stuffy covers are easy to overlook but essential for keeping hose couplings, outlets, and unused branches clean and ready for service. We supply them as part of a complete coupling package when the project requires end sealing.
Materials, finishes, and export interface patterns
For higher mechanical strength, we offer forged inner-buckle KD couplings in DN25, DN40, DN65, and DN80 versions. Copper and all-copper interfaces are available for applications where corrosion resistance or non-sparking characteristics matter, including KD65 copper and a 40 American all-copper interface.
Export projects often use regional connection standards. Our range includes a 40 American interface, 40 forest expansion and anti-knotting interface, and British-pattern interfaces for hose lines and hydrant outlets. When you specify the standard, we can match thread form, lug shape, gasket type, and diameter accordingly.
Engineering value and line integration
Our engineering team works across the complete hose line, not only the coupling. Since we manufacture fire hoses, hose reels, hydrant boxes, and nozzles, we can propose a coupling configuration that matches the hose inner diameter, the hydrant outlet, and the nozzle thread.
For hoses produced in our own plant, our factory can tie the water hose to the fire protection interface before delivery. That removes a field assembly step and gives you a factory-finished assembly with consistent tension and sealing. For separate coupling orders, dimensions, thread type, and pressure class are confirmed before production.
OEM/ODM is a normal part of our work. We develop and produce couplings from customer drawings or samples, including custom markings, packaging, and interface changes. If the coupling will be used with a hose that is not from our range, send the hose inner diameter and construction details; we use that data to match the shank size.
Quality assurance and acceptance
Taizhou Pacific Fire Equipment is a designated production enterprise of the Fire Department of the Public Security Department and a member of the Technical and Product Information Center of the China Fire Protection Association. Our factory in Taizhou covers 8,000 square meters and includes our own laboratory and testing equipment.
For couplings, inspection is carried out after each production process. Final parts receive 100% full inspection according to customer requirements and international standards before packing. Dimensional checks, thread gauge checks, bore and shank fit, lug integrity, gasket seating, and pressure-related inspection are part of the acceptance plan we agree in the purchase contract.

Project support, packing, and delivery
Our company has more than 80 employees, including more than 30 professional and technical personnel, and maintains close coordination between coupling production and our hose and hydrant lines. Our Taizhou location gives convenient access to National Highway 328 and the Beijing–Shanghai Expressway, supporting both domestic and export logistics.
Standard export shipments are made by sea; when a project is urgent, we arrange air shipment as agreed at quotation stage. Products are supplied under our Pacific and Huatai brands, with a strong presence in East China, nationwide coverage, and regular exports to Africa and Pakistan.
Field maintenance is straightforward: keep coupling bores clean, inspect gaskets before connection, replace worn seals, and avoid overtightening threaded versions. We can provide matching spare gaskets and pressure caps for the sizes supplied.
Frequently asked questions
Which fire coupling sizes and pressures do you manufacture?
Our KD card-type coupling series covers DN25, DN40, DN50, DN65, DN80, DN100, and DN150 at a nominal pressure of 1.6 MPa, suitable for water, foam, and mixture. KN and KW fixed-thread couplings are available in DN50, DN65, DN80, and DN100, with reducing and stuffy cover options.
Can you supply couplings already attached to fire hose?
Yes. For hoses made in our own factory, we can tie or fit the coupling to the hose before delivery. We can also coordinate a factory-finished assembly with our fire hose, hose reel, and hydrant box production.
Do you support custom interfaces and OEM/ODM orders?
We do. We develop and produce couplings from drawings or samples, including custom connection patterns, materials, markings, and packaging. Tell us the standard and your upstream and downstream equipment, and we will match the interface.
What information is needed for a coupling quotation?
Please provide the connection standard, nominal diameter, pressure, media, quantity, end configuration, and whether the coupling will be assembled to hose. For OEM/ODM work, include drawings, samples, or reference part numbers.
How is coupling quality checked?
We perform process-level inspections after each production stage. Final couplings receive 100% full inspection according to customer requirements and international standards, using our own laboratory and testing equipment.
