Fire Extinguisher Cabinets for Permanent, Fixed Storage
Taizhou Pacific Fire Equipment Co., Ltd. is a China-based Fire Extinguisher manufacturer producing the cabinet range that holds and protects portable extinguishers in long-term fixed positions. Our boxes are specified for shopping malls, factories, warehouses, office buildings, stations and docks — the commercial, industrial, educational and medical projects our wider fire equipment range serves.
Four decades in the fire protection industry shape how we build. Since 1980 we have operated R&D, manufacturing, sales and maintenance from Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, close to National Highway 328 and the Beijing–Shanghai Expressway, under the Pacific and Huatai brands. We are a designated production enterprise of the Fire Department of the Public Security Department and a member of the Technical and Product Information Center of the China Fire Protection Association.

Our Fire Extinguisher Range
The cabinet family is organised by how it is placed and how it opens. The same body construction carries through every variant, so a project can mix floor-standing positions in service corridors with wall-mounted units in stair lobbies without changing appearance or finish.
Floor-Mounted Fire Extinguisher Boxes (code D)
Free-standing cabinets that rest on the floor and are available in clamshell or frame construction. They suit warehouse aisles, plant rooms, corridors and production areas where a wall fixing will not carry the load or is not practical. See the Floor-Mounted Fire Extinguisher range.
Wall-Mounted Fire Extinguisher Boxes (code Q)
Cabinets hung on the wall, normally with an aluminium alloy door and frame glazed in ordinary or frosted glass. They are the standard choice for corridors, office floors, hotel lobbies, schools and hospital departments where the extinguisher must stay visible but out of the traffic path. See Wall-Mounted Fire Extinguisher cabinets.
Door-Type Fire Extinguisher Boxes (opening code K)
Hinged swing-door cabinets that open outward for full access to the extinguisher. The glass panel gives immediate visual identification, which makes door-type units suitable for public buildings, retail floors and service counters. See Door-Type Fire Extinguisher boxes.
Flip-Top Fire Extinguisher Boxes (opening code F)
A lifting top section replaces the swing door, giving fast vertical access from above. Flip-top units are used where an opening door would block a passage, at counters and in compact service positions.
Sizing and Classification Codes We Work To
Fire extinguisher boxes are ordered by code rather than by description alone. The classification set out in GA 139 organises the cabinet by placement, opening method and body dimension, and it is the basis on which we quote and manufacture.

Materials, Finish and Hardware
Cabinets are formed from thin steel plate, aluminium alloy and other metal materials, with stainless steel construction available for the fire cabinet family. Coated surfaces are finished so the paint layer is uniform across the body, frame and door, which matters when a floor of cabinets has to read as one installation.
- Body: thin steel plate or stainless steel, formed and welded for rigidity.
- Wall-mounted doors and frames: aluminium alloy, glazed with ordinary or frosted glass.
- Construction: strong, clean-lined and simple to operate, with the door or top section opening without tools.
- Interior: sized to keep the extinguisher upright and immediately liftable.
- Marking: identity, size code and instruction marking applied as agreed for the project.
Capacity Fit and Extinguisher Envelope
Fit is decided by the extinguisher envelope, not by the extinguisher's nominal rating. Cylinder diameter, overall height including valve and hose, and the number of units per cabinet set the required internal clear space; the size codes above are the starting point and we adjust the drawing when the envelope falls between them.
Installation and Site Interfaces
Floor-standing units sit on a level base with the cabinet foot bearing on the slab; wall-mounted units are anchored through the back frame at a height that keeps the extinguisher handle within reach and the door clear of passing traffic. Recessed or surface-fixed mounting, door swing direction and distance to the nearest exit are settled before the anchor positions are marked out.
- Allow full swing for code K doors and full lift for code F tops.
- Keep the cabinet off escape routes and out of the reach of vehicle traffic in warehouses.
- Confirm wall material and anchor type where blockwork or cladding is used.
- Position glass-fronted units where the extinguisher stays visible under normal lighting.
Quality Control and Acceptance
Every process step is inspected before the next one starts, and the finished cabinet passes a 100% inspection against customer requirements and international standards. Our laboratory and testing equipment support that routine, and the inspection record travels with the shipment.
- Dimensions against the approved drawing, including body thickness and height code.
- Door and frame alignment, hinge travel, latch engagement and fit of the glass panel.
- Coating uniformity, absence of runs and surface damage.
- Marking, size code and quantity against the packing list.
- Packing condition before the container is closed.
OEM/ODM Configuration
Our R&D team develops and produces cabinets from customer drawings or samples, so projects that need a non-standard body, a specific finish, a particular glass, or a distributor's own branding are quoted on the same basis as catalogue sizes. Hardware and locking arrangements are settled at quotation so the cabinet matches the site's access requirements.
Information We Use to Configure Your Solution
A quotation can be prepared from a short, complete data set. Incomplete entries are the main cause of drawings being revised late, so we confirm each item before releasing the cabinet for production.
- Extinguisher type, cylinder diameter, height and weight, plus the number of units per cabinet.
- Placement type (D or Q) and opening method (K or F).
- Body size code, or the internal clear dimensions if the cabinet is being drawn to suit.
- Body and door material, colour, and the required glass type.
- Marking text and language, and any branding to be applied.
- Project quantity, destination port and any site standard the cabinets must meet.
- Drawing or sample reference for OEM/ODM work, and packing or pallet requirements.
Delivery, Documentation and Maintenance
Cabinets are packed to protect frames, doors and glass in transit, and shipped by sea as standard; air freight is arranged when a project programme is tight. Documentation covering the inspection record and packing list accompanies each order. Maintenance is straightforward: keep the door or top section free of obstruction, check hinge and latch operation, replace broken glass, touch up coating damage and keep the stored extinguisher within its service interval.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which extinguisher sizes fit your cabinets?
Fit is matched to the extinguisher envelope. Send us the cylinder diameter, overall height including valve and hose, and whether one or two units sit in the cabinet, and we will assign size code 1 (B = 160 mm, h = 450 mm), 2 (B = 200 mm, h = 650 mm), 3 (B = 220 mm, h = 800 mm) or 4 (B = 220 mm, h = 1000 mm), or adjust the cabinet drawing where the envelope falls between codes.
Can you manufacture to our drawing or sample?
Yes. Our R&D team develops and produces cabinets from customer drawings or samples, covering non-standard bodies, finishes, glass and distributor branding.
How are the cabinets quality-controlled and documented?
Inspection follows each process step, and each finished cabinet is inspected 100% according to customer requirements and international standards, supported by our laboratory and testing equipment. The inspection record and packing list accompany the shipment.
How are orders shipped?
We ship by sea as standard and arrange air freight for urgent consignments. The transaction method is confirmed with the quotation.
Can spare glass, hinges and latches be included with the order?
Tell us at quotation stage which components the site wants held as spares, and we will price them and include them in the packing list with the cabinets.
Do you supply other fire fighting equipment with the cabinets?
Our range also covers fire hydrant boxes and stainless steel fire cabinets, fire hose reels, fire hoses, couplings and hose guns, so a project package can be consolidated in one order and one shipment.
