Taizhou Pacific Fire Equipment Co., Ltd. manufactures colored fire hose at our plant in Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, where we have produced fire hose, hose reels, couplings and hydrant equipment under the Pacific and Huatai brands since 1980. Our colored hose programme covers 8, 10, 13 and 16 bar pressure grades, 25 mm to 80 mm nominal bores, 20 m, 25 m and 30 m lengths, and jacket colours built around red, blue, green, orange, yellow and purple, including reflective outer finishes.

Colour does real work in a hose line. It separates systems by floor, zone or medium, keeps hose visible in low-light industrial areas, and gives distributors a consistent way to build branded hose sets. We manufacture the hose body, control the outer cover colour and fit the couplings, so a coloured hose arrives as a finished, cabinet-ready or reel-ready assembly.

Colored Fire Hose Range and Pressure Grades

Our catalogue uses a pressure-bore-length designation. A reference such as 16-65-20 describes a 16 bar hose with a 65 mm nominal bore and a 20 m length, while a two-part reference such as 20-65 indicates length and bore. The four build grades share the same jacketed construction and differ in reinforcement, lining and cover compound, so bore and pressure grade decide which build suits a project.

Higher grades are built mainly on polyurethane-based bodies, while the lower grades use rubber and rubber-plastic lining and cover compounds. All grades are specified for high pressure resistance, acid and alkali resistance, high-temperature tolerance, a smooth low-resistance coating, light weight and good flexibility. Lengths run to 20 m, 25 m or 30 m in the standard programme, and complete cabinet or reel sets are assembled by coupling two or more lengths through the matching interface.

Colour, Outer Cover and Length Options

As a Colored Fire Hose manufacturer, we work to the colour reference a project supplies rather than forcing a fixed colour list. Colour and length are both customisable to customer requirements, and the same construction can be finished with a plain coated cover or a reflective silk outer jacket for night operations.

References currently held in the coloured programme include 16-65-20 Red; 20-65 in Red, Blue and Green; 20-80 in Orange, Red and Blue; 25-65 in Red, Orange and Yellow; and 25-80 in Reflective Silk Red, Orange and Yellow. The 10-65-25 water curtain build is produced on the same line for shielding and agricultural duty.

Couplings, Reels and Hose Line Integration

Our factory can tie the hose directly to the fire protection interface, so the delivered item is a coupled assembly rather than a bare length. Coupling choice follows the hydrant, reel, gun or distributor the hose must connect to, and our Fire Coupling programme covers internal button, quick, pipe thread, internal thread fixed, external thread fixed and reducing interfaces in nominal diameters from 25 mm to 150 mm at 1.6 MPa nominal pressure for water, foam and mixture service.

Because bore, pressure grade and coupling size must agree, we confirm the whole hose line - hose, coupling and any reel or cabinet it is packed with - before the production order is released inside our Fire Hose range.

Quality Control and Acceptance

Inspection is built into the process rather than applied at the end. We inspect after each production stage, and every finished hose is fully inspected to customer requirements and international standards before packing. Our own laboratory and testing equipment sit inside the 8,000 m2 plant, where more than 80 employees work, including over 30 technical personnel.

• Working pressure and burst pressure are declared as a pair - 0.8/2.4, 1.0/3.0, 1.3/3.9 and 1.6/4.8 MPa across the four grades.
• Nominal bore and cut length are checked against the order before the coupling is fitted.
• Jacket colour, cover finish and coil appearance are verified against the approved colour reference.
• Finished assemblies are inspected 100% before packing and release for shipment.

Documentation, Packing and Delivery

Custom work is developed and produced from the drawings or samples a customer provides, which covers private colour references, non-standard lengths and printed marking. Hose is coiled, strapped and carton-packed so the coated cover is not abraded in transit, and each packing list states the set contents and coupling details.

• Hose can be supplied as loose coils or as complete coupled sets, and packed together with reels or hydrant cabinets where the project requires it.
• Shipments move by sea as standard, with air freight for urgent project dates.
• Our export shipments are mainly directed to Africa and Pakistan.

How does colored hose differ from your other hose categories?

Colored hose is produced on the standard jacketed construction and is specified mainly for identification, zoning and appearance. Water curtain, luminous and double-sided adhesive hose are separate builds in our Fire Hose range, each carrying its own outer cover for its duty.
